Tasked with activating the building’s exterior and interior courtyard, we paired a structural material palette with a dynamic planting scheme to strike a bold, intentional balance. The commercial frontage, restaurant courtyard, and rear spaces feature a curated mix of architectural, desert, and tropical flora that simultaneously contrasts and complements the raw industrial architecture. Custom raised concrete and Cor-Ten steel planters seamlessly extend the building's physical language into the landscape, integrating built-in seating that naturally draws people into the space.
