The Martin

A densely planted bosque of stately date palms announces your arrival at The Martin. In addition to providing a shaded respite from the desert sun, the Arrival Court was envisioned as a powerful and dramatic landscape with the focal point of the Entry Garden. This concept, as an abstraction of a desert oasis, was inspired by artist Chris Burden.

The Garden Lounge was envisioned as an extension of the interior lounge and reception. Landscape design elements include a dense canopy of African Sumac that provide a tranquil enclosure and a dappled shade of an evergreen ceiling. Outdoor living rooms provide lounge and seating arrangement for groups large and small, with a fire feature providing warmth and ambiance.

The pool environment was enhanced with exclusive, pool-side cabanas in the form of modern cubes. Linear bands of large leaved columnar trees evoke a lush green environment in the summer months to compliment the refreshing hospitality amenities.
